Linar model 10
Integrated multi-channel amplifier

Read Stereophile review Jan-05 and Home Theater Sound review June 05

The Linar 10 Multi-Channel Integrated Amplifier solves the problem of 2-channel vs. multi-channel systems. No longer must you compromise sound quality to obtain the flexibility that a multi-channel setup requires.

Flexibility is the name of the game with the Linar 10. This integrated amplifier provides 6 stereo inputs for your 2-channel sources such as CD players, Tuners, and Turntables. In addition, a 5.1 input allows you to connect your SACD player, DVD-Audio player, or home-theatre processor. With 5 channels of amplification, and four possible configurations, the Linar 10 provides maximum flexibility for real-world systems.

The Linar 10 can be used in 2-channel mode to satisfy the most discriminating audiophiles with traditional stereo sources. High-quality components, including the latest generation of Mosfet transistors, ensure details and dynamics are faithfully reproduced.

Switch inputs and you have a 5.1 system, while retaining the same quality of amplification. Your home-theatre, SACD, DVD-Audio, or universal high resolution 5.1 source is now reproduced with the same accuracy that you have come to expect from the best stereo amplifiers.

The 4-channel stereo feature allows you to play a stereo signal through both the front and rear channels, great for parties or multi-room capabilities.

Bi-amplification of 2-channel systems is also possible with the Linar 10. By using the rear channel output amplifiers while in 4-channel stereo mode, the amplifier becomes a single box method to achieve bi-amplification.

Conservatively rated at 120 Watts per channel, with all 5 channels driven, the Linar 10 can drive all but the largest speakers on the market. Flexible volume controls allow fine adjustment of the rear channels and subwoofer volumes levels from the listening position, ensuring an ideal listening experience.
